2026 Tortorella Summer Research Fellowship
The Tortorella Statistics for Social Justice Initiative recruited its inaugural cohort of Research Fellows for Summer 2026.
This fellowship is open to Fordham University undergraduate and graduate students interested in applying quantitative methods —
such as data science, statistics, optimization, and machine learning — to real-world problems that advance social good.
Fellows work on faculty-designed research projects supported by a team of research mentors. Beyond producing publishable
research, the program aims to generate actionable insights that can inform policy and improve outcomes for communities.
